PARIS (Agefi-Dow Jones)–Building materials maker Saint-Gobain announced on Tuesday evening that it has issued a total of 1.5 billion euros in bonds in three tranches of 500 million euros each. These three tranches have maturities of 3 years, 6 years and 10 years and bear respective coupons of 1.625%, 2.125% and 2.625%. “Benefiting from the recent rate cut and a 5x oversubscription of the target amount, Saint-Gobain was able to obtain an attractive financing cost, with no new mission premium,” the company said in a statement.
