Bonduelle: 1.8% increase in annual revenue – 08/01/2022 at 6:18 p.m.

(CercleFinance.com) – The Bonduelle group publishes 2021-2022 revenue of 2,891.7 million euros (excluding the IFRS 5 effect) compared to 2,778.6 million euros the previous financial year, i.e. an increase of +1.8% on a like-for-like basis, including the canned and frozen activities in North America sold as of June 30, 2022.

According to the group, these figures testify to the resilience of the activity, despite a context again disturbed by the health crisis, a delicate climatology and geopolitical tensions.

Nevertheless, given the development of activity for the 2021-2022 financial year, on the one hand, an unprecedented wave of inflation affecting all cost components, the Bonduelle Group estimates that the expected growth in the current operating margin (excluding IFRS 5 effect) should be below the communicated objective of +3.6% at comparable scope and constant exchange rates for the 2021-2022 financial year.

The difficulties encountered by the Bonduelle Fresh Americas business unit have led the group to review its medium-term profitability outlook, which could lead to an impairment of tangible and/or intangible assets and deferred tax assets for this activity.
