Bonduelle: net profit collapses in the 1st half

(CercleFinance.com) – Bonduelle publishes a turnover of 1213 ME for the first half of 23/24, a figure down annually by 2.4%.

At the same time, current operating profit stood at €38.5 million (-10.7%) with an operating margin reduced to 3.2%, compared to 3.5% a year earlier.

The consolidated net profit stood at €4.5 million, showing a significant decline of 77.4% compared to the first half of 22/23.

‘The Bonduelle Group is evolving, like the entire agri-food industry, in a generalized context of deconsumption, weighing on the volumes marketed, and inflation of production costs which are partly offset by limited price increases,’ indicates the press release.

The group nevertheless confirms its objectives of revenue growth of around 5% and progression in current operating income of around 15%, on a like-for-like basis.
