Magali Berdah was Philippe Vandel’s guest in “Culture Médias” this Tuesday morning on Europe. Accused of “deceptive commercial practices” by Booba, the founder of the influencer agency Shauna Events denounces the cyberharassment she has suffered since the rapper filed a complaint. She begs justice to act when her life has, according to her, become a real nightmare.
Magali Berdah “can no longer live normally”. Guest on the show Culture Media by Philippe Vandel this Tuesday morning on Europe 1, the founder of the influencer agency Shauna Events, denounced the cyberharassment she has suffered since the complaint filed by rapper Booba for “misleading commercial practices”. Following this complaint, an investigation was opened by the courts.
“I can’t work anymore”
According to the complaint, “there appears to be a complex and organized scam system, centralized by the company Shauna Events”, a “system fueled by the passivity of social networks and particularly Instagram and Snapchat used by influencers to promote scams”. Facts denied by the main interested party, who says she has been living in hell since the media coverage of this affair. “I can no longer live normally and work,” laments Magali Berdah at the microphone of Philippe Vandel.
“I beg justice”
For several months, she has accused Booba of harassment and has obtained the opening of an investigation. This has been open to the National Pole for the Fight against Online Hate (PNLH) of the Paris Public Prosecutor’s Office since June 1, in particular for death threats, harassment by means of electronic communication and public insult on the grounds of origin and of sex. “I live this media trial as a death sentence”, confides Magali Berdah, with tears in her eyes, during her visit to Culture Media.
“If I’ve done something wrong, punish me”
The founder of Shauna Events is appealing for justice, which she “begs” to act. “I dream of going there to get it resolved because Booba is not justice, it is not the repression of fraud. I have always responded to the repression of fraud. They control us very regularly. They did not wait for Booba either. We systematically answer their questions because it is obligatory, “she defends herself on Europe 1. “We have never been sanctioned so far. I did something, if I did something wrong, punish me, but we have to stop, it’s a massacre”, concludes Magali Berdah.
