New book deal for Sarah Ferguson: Prince Andrew’s ex-wife wants to write stories from her teenage years in the future.
Sarah “Fergie” Ferguson (62) still wants to gain a foothold in the book business. Prince Andrew’s ex-wife (62) has the “People” magazine reportedly signed a new book deal with Australian publisher Serenity Press. This should include 22 books, three of which should therefore be young adult novels.
The content is supposed to be about her own painful experiences that she went through in her teenage years, according to the report. “I wanted to tell my story of growing up with anxiety and an eating disorder and witnessing firsthand the impact of generational trauma. It’s always there for me and it all started with the loss of my mother,” Ferguson said in a statement. Her mother died in a car accident in Argentina in 1998. For the 62-year-old, young adults “with all their unbelievable triumphs and heartbreaking failures” are a suitable “backdrop for powerful stories”.
Not her first books
The Duchess of York has long been an author. Her latest young adult novel, Demon’s Land, is due out in June 2022, according to Serenity Press on his Instagram page writes. Another is planned for January 2023, according to the report.
