The Livret A passes to 3% of remuneration…
… just like the Sustainable and Solidarity Development Booklet (LLDS), while the People’s Savings Booklet (LEP) rose to 6.2% against 4.6% today.
This increase in yield, on the proposal of the Governor of the Banque de France, was confirmed by the Minister of the Economy on 13 January. For the 55 million Livret A holders, a rate of 3% will generate up to €688.5 in annual interest for a booklet filled to the ceiling of €22,950, i.e. practically €230 better than today with a rate of 2%. With €10,000 on his Livret A, the surplus would be €100 per year (from €200 to €300), i.e. a total of €25 in interest per month.
As for the LEP, reserved for households not exceeding a certain income ceiling, it will yield €469.7 in interest over one year for a savings account filled up to the ceiling, compared to €354.2 until now, i.e. an additional 115.5€.
+15% for electricity bills at the regulated rate
After more than a year of gas price freezes and a +4% cap for electricity since February 2022, government support measures have been eased since January 1. A 15% increase, already applied to gas prices, is to be expected on electricity bills on February 1 (for those at the regulated rate).
+4.75% for the price of motorway tolls on average

Increase in MaPrimeRénov ceilings
The aid ceilings dedicated to condominiums are increased from €15,000 to €25,000 and the amount of individual premiums for low-income households from €1,500 to €3,000.
The ceilings of “MaPrimeRénov serenity”, a device reserved for low-income households for the realization of global renovation work allowing an energy gain of 35%, go from 30,000€ to 35,000€.
For “intermediate” and “well-to-do” households, the ceilings for “global renovation” packages increase to €10,000 and €5,000 respectively, compared to €3,500 and €7,500 currently.
Launch of the “My Master” platform
Dedicated to 3rd cycle registrations, this national information and application platform will allow students to express their wishes from March 22 for entry into Master 1 for the next academic year. Candidates must appear by April 18 and there is the possibility of submitting a maximum of 15 applications, and 15 additional applications in work-study training.
