France 2 broadcasts Boomerang, this Wednesday, October 5, at 9:10 p.m. This TV movie tells the story of a young printing worker, played by Tiphaine Daviot, who is assaulted by one of her colleagues. Several of its employees, led by Louise, played by Corinne Masiero, will mobilize to do him justice. If this TV movie is not taken froma true storyit is however a subject that particularly affects Corinne Masiero since the actress has herself been victim of sexual assault. A few weeks ago, she also revealed in a documentary that she had been the victim ofincest when she was a child.
The shooting of Boomerang was obviously not easy for Corinne Masiero who confided thathe had awakened things in her. “There were tears of pain [sur le tournage]relief and sharing with the team, who did not expect that, because we were working. They felt this pain, even if it wasn’t said in words“confided the one who plays Captain Marleau in an interview with Tele-Leisure. A TV movie that the actress also sees as a militant act which sometimes allows some victims to free their words: “An artistic work can create a click. Each time, I receive many testimonials. We have the right to say: ‘I suffered that.’ It’s hard to hear that word, but it’s even harder to give it. The least you can do is listen to him.”she insists.
A TV movie followed by a debate and a documentary
After the TV movie, a debate moderated by Julian Bugier will be proposed on sexual harassment at work. A documentary called The revolt of the maids.
