Boot trends
We love these boots in summer and autumn
“These boots are made for walking” – for summer, but also for autumn and winter. Cool soles, trendy updates and timeless classics – the latest boot trends can convince across the board. Do they also make your fashion heart beat faster?
A classic boot found its way back into our shoe cupboards in summer: the cowboy boots. Why? Of course, because they are true all-rounders. Whether with a boho dress or jeans – with the country boots we always look top styled. Even in autumn. With the fashionistas, however, two other trends have made it to the top. We’ll tell you here what these are and how best to combine them.
Slouchy boots
Like cowboy boots, slouchy boots are not new to fashion. In the summer we wore them with short 1960s hanging dresses or elegant paperbag shorts. In autumn, the boots with a loosely fitting shaft will be given a trendy heel update. Whether kitten heel or funnel heel – what is different is fun. Sturdy materials such as leather are particularly suitable so that the shaft of slouchy boots does not hang like a sip of water in the curve.
Knee-high chunky boots
In the summer, Chelsea boots with chunky soles still dominated our Instagram feeds, in autumn it is not the British ankle boots that top the trend ranking, but a similar model makes it to number one. There was one shoe trend that you saw particularly often at Fashion Week in Copenhagen: knee-high chunky boots. They look like the tough Chelsea boots, but have a knee-high shaft and thus look almost like riding boots. The bright colors, especially the thick soles, will make you an eye-catcher this autumn. The rest of the outfit should be kept calmer accordingly.
Cowboy boots
Cowboy boots are not only a must-have for country music fans, the pointy boots with rough block heels are now available in all possible colors, styles and price ranges.
They give every outfit that certain something and can be used all year round because they are neither too warm nor too cold. Whether combined with jeans or a dress – cowboy boots go with many styles. They always look good with casual boho looks. However, the outfit shouldn’t be too chic, unless you want to provoke a style break.
