Booty in the car – two women caught in a thief tour in Liezen

Two Hungarian women committed several shoplifting attacks in Liezen on Monday afternoon. The two women are shown.

Around 5 p.m., two Hungarian women with their main residence in Upper Austria (29 and 35 years old) were caught in the act of shoplifting in a shopping center in Liezen by an employee and subsequently arrested by officers of the police inspection and the Liezen criminal investigation team due to the strong suspicion. In the course of the investigation, more stolen goods were found in the women’s vehicle and secured. During the interrogations, the suspects confessed extensively to having committed thefts in various shops in Liezen on the same day. The loot included electronic devices, cosmetics and perfumes worth several hundred euros. Both suspects were released after the reasons for the arrest no longer existed and will be reported to the public prosecutor’s office in Leoben after the investigation has been completed on suspicion of commercial theft.
