Bora Dagtkin: Successful collaboration with Constantin continues

Bora Dagtkin has extended the contract with Constantin Film. What follows the hit movies "Fack ju Göhte" or "The perfect secret"?

The successful German director Bora Drachtkin (41, "Fack ju Göhte") is continuing the collaboration with Constantin Film. The production company announced this in a message. Dagtkin has extended its exclusive contract until 2025 and will bring three more films to theaters under the umbrella of Constantin Film.

These films became box office hits

With his directorial debut "Turkish for Beginners – The Film" (2012), the "Fack ju Göhte" trilogy (2012, 2015, 2017) and "The perfect secret" (2019), the director and filmmaker has made around Lured 29 million viewers to the cinema. The latter work is the most successful feature film of the past year. Nothing more is known about the upcoming projects. "I am really looking forward to working together on the next Bora Drachtkin films, which will continue to be produced by Lena Schömann," explains Martin Moszkowicz, CEO of Constantin Film.

Dagtkin, who has been working with Constantin since 2009, is also pleased about the extension of the collaboration: "You don't make films alone. I would like to thank Lena Schömann, Martin Moszkowicz, Torsten Koch and the entire Constantin Film & Verleih team for the great collaboration and for the creative freedom you've been giving me for years. " Dagtkin completed a scriptwriting degree at the Baden-Württemberg Film Academy in Ludwigsburg in 2006. He also wrote the successful series "Turkish for Beginners" (2006-2008) and "Doctor's Diary" (2008-2011).
