On Saturday, two young minors from the Basque Country crashed into the vehicle of a pregnant woman, driving a stolen car without a license, in the Chartrons district of Bordeaux, rue Mandron. The days of the mother and her unborn child are not in danger.

The two offenders had stolen the keys to this Audi Q5 from residents of Anglet (Pyrénées-Atlantiques) by breaking into their home while they were sleeping.

Wanted for aggravated theft, the teenagers were spotted and arrested by the anti-crime brigade (Bac) at 10:50 a.m. In their vain attempt to flee the police officers of the Departmental Directorate of Public Security (DDSP), they also hit three other parked cars.

Placed in police custody in Bordeaux on Saturday, the two individuals were then handed over to the Bayonne police station where an investigation was opened.
