What is this high-end headset from Bose?
For its QuietComfort Ultra headphones, Bose is inspired by the famous QC 45, but nevertheless changes its copy for a slightly revised and optimized design, particularly at the headband level. The QC Ultra also has excellent finishes, with quality materials and a solid design. The 250g weight is evenly distributed across the head, allowing for a long listening session without feeling any pressure or discomfort.
The earpads hug the ears and are particularly comfortable, although they can get a little warm if temperatures rise. Touch controls on the earbuds allow you to control volume, music or answer the phone. Note that you can turn the Bluetooth headset off and on with a movement of your head.
Are Bose headphones worth it during the sales?
Less than €400, for a high-end headset from Bose, it’s a very good deal. The QC Ultra has excellent active noise reduction with most noises filtered out well. Conversely, an equally effective mode allows external sounds to be heard. On the audio side, the bass is emphasized, perhaps a little too much if you are sensitive to it. An equalizer present in the dedicated application allows you to fine-tune everything. Performance remains exemplary and the Bose headset is one of the best in its price range for music lovers.
The app can also create modes based on your listening preferences, with optimized noise reduction level, or stereo mode or spatial audio. Finally, expect a full day of battery life at reasonable volume and with noise reduction enabled.
