When will the Bose QuietComfort Ultra be released?

The French magazine Dealabs was able to find out a release date. According to their information, a release date is planned for September 26th.

How much should the Bose QuietComfort Ultra cost?

Possible prices in euros also come from Dealabs, but they definitely apply to France. In Germany they can definitely differ. They appear in black and a kind of cloud white (“Blanc Nuage”) for 499.95 euros.

The headphones can do that

Judging from the leaked promo video and TheTechoutlook article, the new headphones are quite similar to the Bose QuietComfort 45. As a continuation of the series, this isn’t exactly unusual. Finally, this series can also differ from the other Bose Noise Canceling Headphones 700 headphones.

According to TheTechoutlook, the headphone control center is located on the right earpiece, where you can switch on the over-ears and pair them via Bluetooth. You will also find an LED status indicator, a switch for active noise cancellation, a USB-C port and possibly also the volume rocker and multifunction button like other headphones in the series. On your left ear you have a socket for a 3.5 millimeter jack plug if you run out of battery and also an action button.

You should be able to customize your headphones with the Bose Music app. In the video this refers to bass, but it should also work with treble.

According to The Verge, the USB port will be on the left side. The volume control is not implemented with buttons, but you should swipe your finger up or down in a specific area to change the volume. They also have information about the spatial audio capabilities of the headphones. They are intended to support immersive audio and have two modes: “still and motion”. The second mode is optimized for movement.

Dealabs were not only able to find out the price, but also have other information about the QuietComfort Ultra. There should be a silent aware and immersion mode. We already know the aware mode from its predecessor. In this mode you can hear your surroundings and your music at the same time. Silent mode is certainly the opposite. There should also be technology that adapts the headphones to your ears.

There will also be Bluetooth 5.3, a microphone system not unlike the Bose Headphones 700, fast charging, Google Fast Pair and Snapdragon Sound certification. There should be an audio cable set in the box 2.5 millimeter jack connection accessible for a 3.5 millimeter jack. In addition, charging cables of different lengths depending on the color (black: 0.5 meters, white: 1.1 meters), a carrying bag, a pad kit and an adapter for the plane.

The magazine also comments on the battery life. Bose QuietComfort Ultra should last 24 hours in wireless operation. With immersive audio, however, only 18 hours.

Note: This constantly updated article is based on leaks, analyst statements, internal editorial assessments and rumors, the truth of which is difficult for us to verify from a distance. Until the Bose QuietComfort Ultra is formally presented, you should view the information with a certain degree of skepticism.
