With the Smart Soundbar 600 Bose, Bose has introduced a slimmer soundbar variant that should still be able to do as much as possible like the larger sister model 900, albeit on a smaller scale. The Smart Soundbar 600 will be available on October 24th at a price of 550 euros. Pre-orders are now possible.

The Bose Smart Soundbar 600 can also do Dolby Atmos

Among other things, it is pointed out that Dolby Atmos is not only supported, but that 5.1 or stereo sounds are also upgraded to Dolby Atmos sound using the in-house TrueSpace technology. A feature that the previous mid-range soundbar model 500 lacked.

Five sound converters for optimal surround sound

In order to generate a sound that fills the room as much as possible, the Bose Smart Soundbar 600 has a total of five sound converters “on board” – a mid-tweeter for clear dialogue and two counterparts that radiate sideways and upwards. The connection to the television is done either via HDMI eARC or by means of an optical cable.

Other technical features

Google Assistant functions are also supported, and Amazon’s Alexa is even already integrated. This is due to the fact that the Bose Voice4Video technology is used with Alexa. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Chromecast should ensure comprehensive streaming control. Using Bose SimpleSync, the soundbar can be paired with compatible devices in your own home, such as the Subwoofer Bass Module 500, to further expand the sound experience.
