The European Commission has cleared the acquisition of sole control of Royal Boskalis Westminster by HAL Investments, two Dutch companies.
Boskalis is a global marine services company primarily active in dredging, offshore installation and offshore transportation.
HAL is a global investment company, active in various sectors, including maritime, tank storage and media.
The Commission concluded that the proposed acquisition would not raise any competition concerns, due to its limited impact on the market.
