Boskalis: neutral on HAL’s offer price

(CercleFinance.com) – Boskalis Westminster reports that based on independent valuations, it has concluded that the offer price contemplated by HAL “is not unreasonable, but not compelling enough to recommend this price to its shareholders”.

The Dutch maritime infrastructure builder recalls that on March 10, the investment company HAL announced its intention to make a voluntary public offer for Boskalis shares, at a unit price of 32.5 euros.

Boskalis failed to convince HAL, after weeks of discussions, to increase the proposed price, but indicates that it has reached an agreement with him on the non-financial aspects of the offer, an agreement which will be valid four years after the finalization of the offer.
