Boss Incognito: what becomes of Vanina? She gives us her news

This Monday, January 17, after Yves Hecker, CEO of the Les Burgers de Papa brand, it was the turn of Laurent de La Clergerie to embark on the adventure Boss Incognito. This director was notably immersed in the Nantes warehouse where he was trained by Vanina, a 23-year-old young woman, order picker. And it’s an unprecedented situation that the boss experienced since he faced a huge breakdown that paralyzed the entire order preparation chain. A situation controlled by the teams present that day.

At the end of the program, Laurent de La Clergerie, very happy with Vanina’s work, intended to help her evolve in the company. Where is she today? She answered our questions.

“It was a bit of a panic on board!”

Télé-Loisirs: Remember this day of filming! It was special since a breakdown prevented you from working…

Vanina: The outage started the day before. We were aware that a program for M6 was filming in the warehouse. There was a bit of panic on board because a lot of parcels were piling up. I was aware that a job seeker was coming for training. I wondered how I was going to be able to train him when everything was down… It was complicated to show my work to someone who didn’t know anything about it.

Did you think this could be the show Boss Incognito ?

Not at all ! On the immersion day, I don’t think about it at all. Laurent was a beginner, he was involved in the way of learning. I had no doubts.

How did you experience the presence of the cameras?

At first it was complicated. The cameramen are close to us, it’s disturbing in the work. We must avoid them. they take us back on things to say, if sometimes we don’t express ourselves very well, we have to reformulate. We are so stressed. TV is not for me! (she laughs).

We feel that you want to shake Laurent…

Yes, a little bit (she laughs). I tend to be very speedy, I always have to be busy. The fact that there are cameras, I was calmer too.

“The day of the reveal, I was not well”

During lunch, you confide in Laurent about the school burnout you suffered. Why confide in him?

I felt confident. The context brought this conversation. I explained to him that my main objective was not that job. The studies I did didn’t go very well. I was comfortable enough with him to discuss this.

At the time of the reveal, we feel a lot of emotion…

I was not well at the time of the reveal. There were a lot of emotions that day, everything was increased tenfold. I lived everything intensely. Talking about that again would have been too intense I think.

Do you apprehend the broadcast of the show?

Yes. I’ve never seen myself on TV, I’m afraid of the image I’m going to convey. Seeing yourself without judging yourself… it’s going to be difficult.

Have you stayed in touch with Laurent de la Clergerie?

We kinda stayed in touch. He had sent me the photos he had taken with Tony Parker.

Where are you today?

I was offered to finance a skills assessment. If the skills assessment leads to possible training, I would be authorized to follow it during my working time. For the moment, all this remains unclear. I have no idea what position or work would suit me. What is good is that they are open and we discuss it.
