On Friday a snowboarder and a skier crashed into each other in the Giggijoch ski area in Sölden: Both sustained serious injuries.
There was a collision between a 52-year-old Danish snowboarder and a 42-year-old Polish skier in the Giggijoch ski area in Sölden on Friday around 12.30 p.m. Both men fell and both suffered serious injuries: while the Dane sustained a serious leg injury, the Pole sustained a serious shoulder injury. The piste rescue came for first aid, then the two injured people were brought to Medalp by the rescue team.
