Traditional banks resist

If the first positions in this ranking are occupied by online banks, certain traditional establishments seem to have made great efforts to stay in the race such as Crdit Mutuel, Caisse d’Epargne, Banque Populaire and even SG. They rank ahead of other online players like Fortuneo.

On the other hand, Crdit Agricole brings up the rear with a rating of 3.72 on the App Store and 3.27 on Google Pay. And its subsidiary BforBank which has just renewed its offer is also at the bottom of the ranking. Just like LCL. A poor performance for the various entities of the Crdit Agricole group.

A recent study by Sia Partners called Mobile Banking Benchmark 2023 already estimated that BoursoBank has the best mobile application among French banks. The survey was based on more than 85 criteria, features and user experience of applications from 148 banks in 19 countries.
