For the occasion, Télé Star invites you to dive into the private life of André Raimbourg and discover how his wife, Jeanne Lefriquedied in 1986.

It was at the age of 19 that the man who was not yet Bourvil but a simple musician from the Paris region met Jeanne Lefrique, daughter of a foreman at the Fontaine-le-Dun sugar factory, in Current Seine-et-Marne. The young man immediately falls under her spell. In 1943, the couple married and then gave birth to two children, Dominique, born in 1950 and Philippe, born in 1953. The Raimbourg family enjoyed real happiness until 1967 when Bourvil was diagnosed with Kahler’s disease, a bone cancer. The actor fought for three years against the disease but died in 1970 with his wife. Mourning is complicated for Jeanne Lefrique who regularly visits the grave of her husband buried in the cemetery of Montainville. In January 1986, it is moreover on her way to the cemetery that she is the victim of a car accident in which she loses her life.

In The crossing of Bourvil, documentary broadcast on France 3 this Friday, September 22, it is Valérie Lemercier who interprets the narrator. The actress is an unconditional fan of the actor and singer who died in 1970, so much so that she has a portrait of him in her living room.
