Bouygues: Moody’s assigns an ‘A3’ rating to the latest investment

Moody’s said Wednesday that it had assigned the ‘A3’ rating to the bond placement of two billion euros announced in the morning by Bouygues.

The agency explains that this rating reflects the large size of the conglomerate, its leading position in the European construction market, its prudent financial discipline over the past few years and its solid cash position.

The outlook associated with the rating remains ‘stable’.

As a reminder, Bouygues announced this morning the success of a placement comprising two tranches of one billion each for seven and 15 years and bearing coupons of 2.25% and 3.25% respectively, essentially intended to finance the acquisition of Equals.
