Bouygues Telecom revamps its Bbox Ultym offers in the colors of Wi-Fi 6E

A few weeks ago, Bouygues Telecom presented its new Bbox Fiber Wi-Fi 6E. This is now available in all the operator’s sales channels, which will offer it in its Bbox Ultym Fiber offers, subject to a price increase of three euros per month. This subscription will be offered at 29.99 euros per month for one year and then at 49.99 euros per month (with a 12-month commitment).

For this price, which flirts with those of the competition, subscribers and future subscribers will have access to this new modem integrating three frequency bands: two bands 2.4 Ghz and 5 Ghz for Wi-Fi 6, and a 6 Ghz band for Wi-Fi 6E, intended to allow “further improved performance”, as argued by the operator of the Bouygues group.

“In order to offer simple use, as on the Wi-Fi 6 modem, all the functionalities are visible on a screen and a wheel allows you to easily navigate from one universe to another: settings, diagnostics, parental control, etc. It is also possible to display a QR code that you just have to flash to automatically connect to the network, ”explains the management of Bouygues Telecom. As a result, the operator now promises speeds of up to 2 Gb/s in downlink speed and 900 Mb/s in uplink speed.

Bbox Ultym offers will not be the only ones to benefit from this increase in speed, with an increase of one euro per month for their subscribers. Bouygues Telecom thus promises that users of its Bbox Fit offers (marketed at 15.99 euros per month, then 30.99 euros per month after 12 months) will now benefit from 400 Mb / s in download speed and 400 Mb / s in speed amount.

With regard to the users of its Bbox Must offers (marketed at 22.99 euros per month, then 40.99 euros per month after 12 months), these will see their uplink speeds rise to 77 Mb/s against 1 Gb/s for their downstream speeds.

Bouygues Telecom also indicates that a new TV decoder, the Bbox 4K HDR, will also be included in its Bbox ultym Fiber and Bbox ultym xDSL offers. In addition, Bbox Smart TV customers will now have access to a new option, Multi B.tv+, which will allow them (for 6.99 euros per month without commitment) to download the B.tv+ application on a second television and use with a Google Chromecast installed on their device.
