Bouygues Telecom’s Bbox ultym range will be enhanced with the addition of Disney+ and Salto.

Bouygues Telecom is attacking new customers by launching its summer internet offer, with an enhanced Bbox ultym subscription, both on fibre, xDSL technology and Smart TV. The operator is thus offering its new customers six months of subscription to the Disney+ and Salto platforms.

Bbox ultym prices that remain unchanged

Since Monday July 11, Bouygues Telecom has been offering a new version of its Bbox ultym range, including Disney+ and Salto for six months. This is available for any new subscription with the operator of a Bbox ultym fiber, xDSL or Smart TV offer, as we said above.

The advantage here is that Bouygues Telecom does not take the opportunity to increase the prices of the range, which remain unchanged. Except that, of course, current subscribers cannot benefit from the two SVoD platforms free of charge for six months, which is always a shame.

In other words, any new Bbox ultym Fiber or xDSL subscription remains at 29.99 euros for 12 months, then switches to 49.99 euros (40.99 euros for xDSL subscribers). And any Bbox ultym Smart TV subscription remains at 49.99 euros per month from the first year.

Bouygues Telecom wants to appeal to families

Bouygues Telecom hopes to convince an audience of both families and aficionados, based on entertainment, by adding Disney+ to its offer. The Salto service was already included in the Bbox ultym offer since last April. The operator ” thus meets the expectations of its customers, and in particular of families who want the best in connectivity and entertainment », Explains the operator.

If you cross the six-month mark and want to keep both platforms, the subscription to Disney + will cost you 8.99 euros per month, that to Salto 6.99 euros per month. The Bbox ultym range with its enriched offers is available at least until August 15, as the operator tells us.

Bouygues Telecom does not write it as such in its press release, but there is no “automatic renewal” in the event of subscription. It is therefore implied that these two free offers for six months, then paid, are non-binding.

Disney+

  • Disney classics in one place
  • Exclusive Marvel, Pixar and Star Wars series
  • A very attractive price

It was highly anticipated and did not disappoint. Disney+ is not a Netflix rival but a complementary offer, geared particularly towards children and more broadly towards the family. The Star universe, meanwhile, remains the poor relation of the platform and will require several years of work to catch up with its competitors.
