Box office: AI stronger than Franck Dubosc? The Creator takes control of the first day in France


The Creator, a sci-fi film directed by Gareth Edwards, director of Rogue One, takes the lead on the first day in France!

The Creator, new feature film by Gareth Edwards, director of Star Wars Rogue One, takes the lead on the first day in France! With more than 31,000 admissions, it is ahead of the new comedy with Franck Dubosc, New startwhich records 30,983 tickets sold.

DogMan, directed by Luc Besson, takes 3rd position in the ranking with just over 28,000 spectators. A rather weak start for the director, who had not recorded such a low score since The Lady in 2011 (36,000 admissions on the first day). His last film, Anna, released in 2019, opened with 80,000 torn tickets.

Cédric Kahn takes 4th place in the ranking with his legal drama, The Goldman Trial. With more than 25,000 curious people, he is ahead Stroke of luck by Woody Allen (11,823 entries). The 50th feature film by the New York filmmaker, with a 100% French cast, is off to a better start than his previous film, Rifkin’s Festival (5,440 admissions in 2022).
