Figures also higher than those of the DC animated film released in July 2022, Krypto and the Super-animals which had brought in 92,565 spectators for its 1st day.

In ancient Kahndaq, the slave Teth Adam had received superpowers from the gods. But he used it for revenge and ended up in prison. Five millennia later, when he was liberated, he brings his very dark conception of justice to the world. Refusing to surrender, Teth Adam must face a band of modern-day heroes who make up the Justice Society – Hawkman, Dr. Fate, Atom Smasher and Cyclone – who intend to send him back to prison for eternity.

In second position we find the new animated film by Michel Ocelot The Pharaoh, the Savage and the Princess with 43,138 admissions. Figures almost similar to those of his last feature film Dilili in Paris. Released in October 2018, the film had 49,786 admissions for its first day of release.

The Pharaoh, the Savage and the Princess tells 3 tales that take place in 3 eras in 3 distinct universes. An epic from ancient Egypt, a medieval legend from Auvergne and an 18th century fantasy in Ottoman costumes and Turkish palaces.

James Huth’s comedy, The New Toy with Jamel Debbouze and Daniel Auteuil is on the third step of the podium. This new version of Francis Veber’s film (1976) with Pierre Richard totaled 36,082 admissions out of 795 prints.
