Dungeons & Dragons achieves the best launch of the three adaptations to date, with just over 80,000 tickets sold. The version released in 2000 garnered almost the same number of viewers (78,562), and the 2006 version only 7,813 viewers.
The comedy 10 more days without mom, with Franck Dubosc, comes second. With 50,836 admissions, the start is a bit disappointing because it is much lower than the first part: 10 days without mom had recorded 100,427 admissions, when it was released in February 2020 (and 75,921 admissions without the previews).
susume is third, and with this film, director Makoto Shinkai recorded his best French launch, ahead of Les Enfants du temps and Your Name.
After Edmond, Alexis Michalik unveils his second feature film: A love story. Timid launch with a total of 10,509 entries (Versus 34,574 entries for Edmond’s Day 1, which relied on a more “bankable” cast).
