TO REMEMBER
For the 3rd week in a row, Jurassic World: The World After remains at the top of the French box office, reaching 2.3 million admissions. The film records better stability than the previous parts, and resists the fierce competition of Top Gun Maverickagain in 2nd position this week.
The film with Tom Cruise is continuing its very successful career, now accumulating just over 4.2 million admissions. This sequel thus scored better than the original part released in 1986. The latter had made just over 3.5 million admissions.
Another record in sight for Top Gun Maverick: becoming the biggest success in France for its main actor. It seems rather difficult because you would have to beat Rain Man and his 6,475,615 curious.
Finally, note that worldwide, Top Gun Maverick has crossed the billion dollar mark in revenue!
Buzz Lightning starts rather timidly with nearly 500,000 entries. He stands in front Elvis, Baz Lurhmann’s biopic event, which brings together just over 340,000 King fans. In 5th place, the horror film Black Phone attracts just over 136,000 chills aficionados.
Incredible but true, the absurd comedy by Quentin Dupieux, fell 3 places. It still manages to cross the milestone of 200,000 entries. Steak with Eric and Ramzy remains his biggest hit to date, released in 2007.
Other novelties to interfere in the Top 10, the comedies The perfect man with Didier Bourdon, and El Buen Patron with Javier Bardem. The two works attracted around 50,000 spectators each.
