Box office: love and wine with La Dégustation, at the top of the 1st day France


After making the box office dance last week with Rumba la vie, Franck Dubosc gives way to Bernard Campan and Isabelle Carré. The duo intoxicates the 1st day France by climbing to the top of the ranking with The tasting.

Directed by Ivan Calbérac from his play, this romantic comedy to be consumed without moderation brought together more than 32,000 spectators. The filmmaker achieves a score lower than his previous film, Venice is not in Italy, which had gathered nearly 40,000 curious people when it was released in May 2019.

THE MULTIVERSE INVADES FRANCE

In second place, Everything Everywhere All at Once creates a surprise by attracting more than 26,000 onlookers. A great performance for this action feature film with Michelle Yeoh featuring the multiverse. Vincent Lindon and Juliette Binoche climb to the 3rd step of the podium: With love and determinationdirected by Claire Denis, posted a score of 15,072 entries.

In the middle of the table, we find The Blank Page, adaptation of the comic strip by Pénélope Bagieu and Boulet, with 9,200 torn tickets. The work precedes the documentary The Princess (5,662), devoted to Lady Diana, and the drama The Five Devilsled by Adèle Exarchopoulos (4,922).

At the bottom of the table, another documentary is in the spotlight, Flee, with 4,753 entries. Finally, with rebeldirectors Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah (Bad Boys 3, Batgirl) explore the perilous subject of jihad, attracting nearly 3,000 people.
