After Black Adam last week, it’s Plancha’s turn to take command of the 1st day France for the outings of October 26th. The sequel to Barbecue, still produced by Eric Lavaine, posted a score of 43,824 entries. This is 3 times less than the performance of the first part, which attracted more than 120,000 people in 2014.

However, it is better than his previous feature film, Un tour chez ma fille, which started at 20,000 admissions in June 2021.

In second position, The Devil’s Prey created a surprise with more than 27,000 horror film fans. It is ahead of the Egyptian thriller The Cairo Conspiracy, which claims 26,690 torn tickets.

In 4th position, La Comédie L’Ecole est à nous, led by Sarah Suco, recorded 22,269 admissions. The filmmaker Alexandre Castagnetti manages to exceed the score of his previous feature film, La Colle, which posted a first day of 16,000 tickets sold in July 2017.
