Boxing: Patrice Evra will face youtuber Adam Saleh

From the fields to the rings. Former footballer Patrice Evra will fight his first boxing fight on April 30 in London against youtuber Adam Saleh.

While the rumor swelled for some time, it became official this Thursday evening. The former French international, who notably worked for Olympique de Marseille and Juventus Turin, will put on the gloves to face an Internet star.

It was the youtubeur Adam Saleh who announced it on his Instagram account by publishing the poster of the fight. This confrontation will take place during a London evening under the main-event card between the two super-heavyweights: Martyn Ford (alias the most frightening man on the planet) – Iranian Hulk (real name Sajad Gharibi).

Aged 28, Saleh, American of origin, has already fought three times in the past (2 wins, 1 draw). He is also a singer. Like Jake and Logan Paul, he also got into the world of boxing.

In his Instagram post, the youtubeur posted a photo of Patrice Evra, retired since 2018 after a freelance at West Ham, with his Manchester United jersey. And one of him with the tunic of the rival… Manchester City.

Aged 40, the former captain of the Blues, who has been training for a few months with professionals, will therefore try to make a success of his debut in boxing during this fight which will take place at the O2 Arena in London.
