Angelina Jolie is said to have forged a devious plot to bring her ex Brad Pitt out of millions.
The ongoing war of divorce between Brad Pitt, 57, and Angelina Jolie, 46, is growing ever more vicious and now it’s about more than just custody of their children.
Brad Pitt accuses Angelina Jolie of plotting against him
The “Ocean’s Eleven” actor filed a lawsuit in Luxembourg on Tuesday, September 21, 2021, accusing Angelina Jolie of preventing him from a lucrative sale of Château Miraval shares, reports Us Weekly. The former Hollywood dream couple bought the Château Miraval winery in the south of France for 60 million in 2011 and even got married on the impressive property in August 2014. According to US Weekly court documents, the ex-spouses share the castle equally. It is currently valued at more than 160 million US dollars, the equivalent of around 137 million euros.
War of divorce for hundreds of millions
Just recently, Jolie had tried to sell her half. “Jolie has not acted in Pitt’s best interests by delaying the approval of the annual financial statements and systematically delaying the hiring of the manager,” according to the content of the complaint. “It is another example of this person (Angelina Jolie) tries to circumvent rules and evade their obligations, ”the complaint continues. Brad Pitt adds that this latest move by Jolie is “pretty consistent” with her previous behavior. “It’s pretty annoying that she’s doing that. Especially when you consider that Brad was the one who did all the work building the winery, ”an insider told Us Weekly.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have been officially divorced since 2019, but the war for the millions and custody of their underage children continues: Pax 17, Zahara, 16, Shiloh, 15, and 13-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne. The couple’s eldest son, Maddox, is already 20 and no longer a minor.
