After the two couples arrived in Venice on Saturday, August 31, 2024, to attend the 81st Film Festival, they visited the Ristorante Da Ivo together. The restaurant is said to be one of George and Amal Clooney’s favorites. Whenever they are in Venice, they also dine at this restaurant, it is said.
Zucchini flowers, truffles and tiramisu were part of the menu for the couples
Brad Pitt and Ines de Ramon, as well as George and Amal Clooney, were taken to the restaurant by motorboat taxi from their five-star hotel. During their stay in the restaurant, the four were served zucchini flowers in pastry filled with mozzarella, risotto with porcini mushrooms and truffles, tagliata di manzo and paccheri pasta, accompanied by both red and white wine. For dessert, Brad and George ate tiramisu, while their sweethearts had a wild strawberry sorbet.
George Clooney hosted another party
According to “People”, the stay in the restaurant lasted about two hours. During this time, George Clooney also hosted executives from “Apple TV” for half an hour. After the double date, Brad Pitt and Ines de Ramon were the first to leave the location and boarded the motorboat taxi that took them back to the hotel. George Clooney was the last to leave and interacted with the crowd in front of the restaurant. According to the report, the actor wished people “Buonanotte”, a good evening in Italian, and even did a little dance. “George took over the management of the restaurant for about half an hour. He went to all of our tables and pretended to take our orders,” a participant in the “Apple TV” event later told “People”.
