Braid will offer a special anniversary edition in 2024 – Gamosaurus

Released in 2008, the puzzle game Braid plans a return for April 30, 2024. The title will in fact be released in a special anniversary edition in development for more than three years at Thekla, Jonathan Blow’s company. It will be available on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, iOS and Android via Netflix. Mac and Linux versions are already planned.

And for the 15th anniversary of his game, the creator of The Witness saw the big picture. Braid will see its graphics and animations completely reworked. The soundtrack also has the right to a small remastering by Martin Stig Andersen and Hans Christian Kock.

The anniversary edition will also contain brand new puzzles to get your brain going. And above all, it will be possible to play the game in full accompanied by more than 15 hours of comments on the design of the game. The director wants players to be able to know the reasons which motivated each choice made in the creation of the game.
Braid and its enigmas. An opportunity to learn more about the artistic part of the puzzle game but also about programming or even the design of levels or games more generally.
