This is what the new Xiaomi Watch 2 promises
The Xiaomi Watch 2 is intended to be your intelligent companion in everyday life and during sports. More than 160 sports modes are supported, including professional ski mode. Advanced fitness and workout tracking functions are designed to provide even more precise feedback tailored to you.
The Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 has the necessary power for this. GNSS L1+L5 with 5 satellites is available to you. This is basically like GPS except that it works via a different satellite system. Xiaomi claims that this makes more precise location possible.
With all this, a battery life of up to 65 hours should be achieved. According to very early reviews, which are not necessarily decisive since the watch has only been on the German market for a few days, the battery is enough for two days of normal use. According to one review, daily charging while showering should be sufficient for normal operation.
Of course, all known functions of a modern smartwatch are also supported. You can customize the watch faces, listen to music and answer calls, call for help in an emergency and give voice commands via Google Assistant.
