BRASILIA, Oct 3 (Reuters) – Far-right incumbent President Jair Bolsonaro topped the partial results of Brazil’s presidential election released by the electoral authority on Sunday.
After 60.3% of the voting machines counted, Jair Bolsonaro is credited with 46.0% of the vote, against 45.2% for his main rival, the former left-wing president Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, known as “Lula”. (Report Victor Borges; editorial from Paris)
