The series of bankruptcies, bad luck and breakdowns in the fight against pandemics in Lower Austria continues: Now there is a problem with the payment of the well-deserved Corona bonus for health workers.

It took around six months to get the bonus for health workers off the ground. In many cases, the payout apparently takes almost as long. As the Lower Austrian Chamber of Labor explains, vague and unclearly formulated guidelines cause “considerable problems”. Many of those affected who have moved from a municipality to the state or from Vienna to Lower Austria would not receive the bonus because it was not clear who should make the bonus payment of 500 euros the result that no money is transferred, ”it says.
