Marvin Ducksch is not only a striker from Werder Bremen, but also the life insurance of the club from der Weser. He scored against Karlsruher SC in the sixth league game in a row. Schalke 04 is struggling for an important win against Regensburg, Sandhausen gets important points in the relegation battle.
SV Werder Bremen – Karlsruher SC 2: 1 (0: 0)
Coach Ole Werner continued his winning streak with second division soccer team Werder Bremen and achieved half a dozen wins in a row. The Hanseatic League won 2-1 (0-0) against Karlsruher SC. Goalscorer Marvin Ducksch (51st) scored the opening goal for the North Germans. It was the twelfth goal of the season for the attacker, who scored for the sixth time under Werner.

The Royal Blues won the chasing duel with Jahn Regensburg despite being behind at the break by improving their performance at the beginning of the final phase 2:1 (0:1) and with their second success they moved up into the top group in a row. Regensburg, on the other hand, can hardly keep up with the leading teams after their second game in a row without a win.
Andreas Albers put the guests ahead with his third goal of the season (18th). But Simon Terodde (64th) with his 15th goal of the season and Malick Thiaw (73rd) turned the match in favor of the hosts who seemed agitated for a long time. Schalke missed more self-confidence before the break with bad luck. A free kick by Dutchman Thomas Ouwejan from the right attacking side sailed over the Regensburg defense and hit the crossbar of the Jahn goal.

In the 69th minute, Christian Kinsombi (69th) increased for the Baden-Württembergers. Sixteenth in the table, the SVS drew level with Fortuna Düsseldorf in 15th place. Aue, on the other hand, continued the negative trend of the last few weeks. In the last seven games there was only one point for FC Erzgebirge.
For Sandhausen it was the first home win this season after three draws and six bankruptcies at home. Sandhausen had already won the first leg in Aue 3-1. The fact that the sand houses last played three weeks ago didn’t prove to be a handicap in the end. In the 56th minute, the visitors had a double through Dirk Carlson and Prince Osei Owusu, but each shot was blocked just outside the goal line.
