While feeding the birds, an elderly person was violently attacked this Thursday, April 21, in the heart of Brest (Brittany). His attacker, a 42-year-old man, was arrested.
According to the Telegram, the facts took place around 7:30 a.m. this Thursday, Place Guérin.
A witness to the attack explained that a man, known to prowl the neighborhood, “came to meet the old lady and kicked her violently, dragging her to the ground.” Adding that “there, the man continued to kick the elderly person, before witnesses came to help him”.
Firefighters took care of the victim and transported him to the hospital.
His attacker was quickly arrested and taken into custody.
