Director Brett Ratner is said to be working on his Milli-Vanilli biopic again. It would be his first feature film directing work since 2014.

US director Brett Ratner (51, "X-Men: The Last Resistance") is aiming for a directing comeback with his longstanding heart project, a biopic about the pop duo Milli Vanilli. That reports "Deadline". It would be Ratner's first feature film directing work since "Hercules" (2014) with Dwayne Johnson (48) in the title role.

In November 2017, seven actresses, including Olivia Munn (40, "Magic Mike") and Natasha Henstridge (46, "Bounce"), had accused Brett Ratner of sexual assault and harassment via the "Los Angeles Times". As a result, the production company Warner Bros. had separated from him. Ratner had always denied the allegations.

German-French scandal duo Milli Vanilli

Brett Ratner has been involved in the untitled Milli-Vanilli biopic for over a decade. The film is said to contain all of the hits by the Franco-German duo Fab Morvan (54) and Rob Pilatus (1965-1998). Milli Vanilli enjoyed great success in the late 1980s and early 1990s. When it became known that the two had not sung their songs themselves, the scandal was perfect.
