Rabah Naït Oufella has definitely not finished talking about him. Headlining the film Arthur Rambo by Laurent Cantet, in theaters since February 2, the young 29-year-old actor, previously seen in Grave and in Les Affamés, is in the cast of BRI, the new CANAL+ Original Creation, which will enter filming on March 7 in the Paris region.

Composed of eight 52-minute episodes, this new detective series directed by Jérémie Guez (Sons of Philadelphia), and created and written by the latter and Erwan Augoyard (Engrenages), will immerse us in the daily life of the BRI Versailles, a historical unit specializing in organized crime, through the story of Saïd, who will lead a team made up of young elite cops as reckless as they are efficient.

The former member of the special forces replaces Patrick, a charismatic leader who built his police legend by collaborating for 20 years with Éric, leader of a Parisian underworld clan. Saïd will have to find his place within his group while preventing a gang war from breaking out between Eric’s family and that of the El Hassani brothers.

But it was without counting on Patrick, determined to return to the front of the stage if Saïd refuses to take sides in this settling of accounts which risks setting the capital ablaze.

Worn by Sofian Khammes in the role of Saïd, who already played the role of Rabah Naït Oufella in Arthur Rambo, BRI can count on a cast of shock since Ophélie Bau (Mektoub My Love), Théo Christine (Supremes), Waël Sersoub (MILF ), Sami Outalbali (A story of love and desire, Sex Education), Nina Meurisse (Mixed), Emmanuelle Devos, Vincent Elbaz, and Bruno Todeschini complete the cast according to the channel’s press release.

CANAL + would have found its new contemporary crime series event, after the end of Braquo and Gears? In any case, this is what BRI’s pitch and its cast, made up of a large majority of young rising talents, suggest.

Just like season 2 of Paris Police, currently being filmed, BRI should arrive on CANAL+ during the 2022-2023 season.
