Daphne Bridgerton made her a star, now Phoebe Dynevor has a lot to do. Is that why she can no longer be seen in “Bridgerton”?
Phoebe Dynevor (28) will not be prominently featured in the third season of “Bridgerton” (from May 16 on Netflix). When asked about the upcoming adventures of her character Daphne She told Screen Rant: “Unfortunately not in season three. Possibly in the future.” The actress added: “But as a viewer, I’m really looking forward to the third season.”
Daphne may have become a victim of her own success. Since Phoebe Dynevor started with her leading role in “Bridgeton” in 2020, the actress has landed big roles. She then made the films “The Color Room” (2021), “Bank of Dave” (2023) and “Fair Play” (2023), among others.
Did filming overlap?
Filming for another project, the spy thriller “The Inheritance”, could be a reason for her absence from the third season of “Bridgerton”. When this was filmed, Dynevor is said to have been in front of the camera for the film. The Brit is currently said to be busy with several other films and TV projects, including the thriller “Anniversary”.
This means that the series “Bridgerton” is at least temporarily losing one of its biggest stars – even if it cannot be ruled out that Daphne alias Dynevor will appear at least briefly. After all, the romance between the Duke of Hastings Simon Basset (Regé-Jean Page, 35) and Daphne Bridgerton in season one laid the foundation for the enormous popularity of the TV show. Regé-Jean Page did not return in season two, but Dynevor did, albeit in a smaller role.
Phoebe Dynevor has found happiness in her private life
Phoebe Dynevor’s personal life has also made headlines in recent years. She was in a relationship with comedian Pete Davidson (30) for about five months before the couple separated in 2021 and Davidson got together with Kim Kardashian (43). Dynevor was later spotted with actor Cameron Fuller (28), with whom she is said to have been in a relationship since the beginning of 2023.
