Does Corona thwart the "Bridgerton" continuation? Phoebe Dynevor "can't imagine" shooting.

With the film adaptation of Julia Quinn's (51) novels, Netflix achieved a precision landing. The first season of the series "Bridgerton" is very popular with viewers. A sequel in the form of season two has not yet been officially confirmed and, according to the main actress Phoebe Dynevor (25), could also be extremely difficult to implement. As the Daphne Bridgerton actress reports to the US portal "Deadline", she sees the filming in Corona times rather skeptical.

The reason for the concern of the 25-year-olds seem to be, among other things, the intimate scenes that run like a red thread through season one. In addition, a large number of employees are working in production. Fulfilling all Corona requirements seems difficult. Dynevor says, "I can't see how it would be possible to shoot under these circumstances. There are so many extras and so many crew members. And it's a very intimate show."

Shooting with Regé-Jean Page was a "strange experience"

The shooting of the first "Bridgerton" season was completed in February 2020. Shortly afterwards, the pandemic temporarily shut down almost all film and television productions. Dynvor recalls that it was a "crazy" time. "We barely managed to finish. It was amazing."

The filming was preceded by six weeks of training for the actress with co-star Regé-Jean Page (31) alias Duke Simon Basset and an intimacy coordinator. The two series stars always wore masks, as Dynevor now says. It's a strange feeling, she says. "It was a really strange experience. I didn't see the face of my character's new boyfriend until we were filming a scene together, it was really bizarre."
