The return of “Bridgerton” is getting closer with giant steps. Already on March 25, 2022, the romantic historical series will return to the Netflix streaming service with the eagerly awaited second season. The second season of “Bridgerton” focuses on the budding love between Anthony Bridgerton (Johnathan Bailey) and series newcomer Kate Sharma (Simone Ahsley). Now that his sister Daphne (Phoebe Dynevor) is under the hood, Anthony, the eldest of the Bridgerton brothers, is looking for a wife befitting his status – a “diamond of the first order.”
The upcoming season of the Netflix series will also provide more details about Lady Whistledown, whose identity was revealed in the season 1 finale, as actress Nicola Coughlan revealed.
