Are the “Bridgerton” stars Bessie Carter and Sam Phillips a couple? These clues suggest that
In the Netflix series “Bridgerton” they appear together in front of the camera. But in real life, Bessie Carter, 30, and Sam Phillips, 39, also seem to have taken a common path. Even before the world premiere of season three of the Netflix hit, Carter and Phillips posed for photographers and seemed particularly familiar.
The two appeared together on a red carpet for the first time on March 30, 2023. During their visit to the theater for the film “A Little Life,” the actors huddled close together for the press. Another official appearance by the colleagues followed in May. A little later, in November of that year, clear evidence of a liaison between the two emerged: Sam Phillips was once again at Bessie’s side – but not alone. Together with Bessie’s mother, the “Harry Potter” star Imelda Staunton, 68, they attended the world premiere of “Wonka” in London.

It seems that the actor had already met the parents of his “Bridgerton” colleague at that time. Because the Brit not only posed with her mother – just a week later he was also seen next to Bessie’s father, “Downtown Abbey” star Jim Carter, 75. The trio attended the closing ceremony of “The Crown” season 6 at the Royal Festival Hall in London. Their joint red carpet appearances can also be found on their Instagram channels.
The two have never officially called each other boyfriend or girlfriend. Bessie Carter has played Prudence Featherington since the first season of “Bridgerton”. In the current season, Sam plays Lord Debling, the new admirer of lead actress Nicola Coughlan, 37.

Thea Gottschalk shares memories of Franz Beckenbauer
Thea Gottschalk, 78, has remembered Franz Beckenbauer, †78, who died in January, with a touching post on Instagram. The former wife of presenter Thomas Gottschalk, 74, shared a photo showing a champagne glass that she once received as a guest at the football legend’s wedding party. Engraved on it are both her own name Thea and “Heidi & Franz, July 22, 2006”. Beckenbauer married his third wife Heidi Beckenbauer, 57, in the summer of 2006.
Four weeks after the wedding, the subsequent party took place in the luxury hotel “Stanglwirt” in Going, Austria, which was also attended by numerous celebrities. “Every guest who was invited to Heidi and Franz Beckenbauer’s wedding party received this glass with an engraved name,” comments Thea Gottschalk on the picture. “A fond memory of the emperor…”
Sarah Jessica Parker and John Corbett are filming together again for “And Just Like That…”
So it is! As new footage from the “And Just Like That…” set in New York City shows, which was taken on May 21, 2024, John Corbett, 63, will also be involved in the third season of the “Sex and the City” spin-off. He has played the role of Aidan Shaw since 2000. During the filming of the new episodes, Sarah Jessica Parker, 59, will meet Carrie’s on-off lover again. The photos show Corbett and Parker smiling in casual clothing as they fall into each other’s arms while the television cameras are set up around them.
The images provide an important clue to the plot of the third season, which, according to HBO, will not air until 2025. Apparently, Carrie hasn’t finished with Aidan yet – although the couple decided to separate at the end of season two. Aidan said he won’t be able to move in with Carrie in New York City until his youngest son Wyatt turns 15. However, that would still take a full five years. After one last night together, Aidan said goodbye to Carrie and left her alone in the apartment.

Thomas Gottschalk soon under the hood? “I will get married when…”
On May 7, 2024, Thomas Gottschalk, 74, and ex-wife Thea, 78, officially put an end to their marriage in court in Munich. Now the former “Wetten, dass ..?” presenter would finally be free to say yes to long-time girlfriend Karina Mroß. But is the entertainer really ready for the next step?
Gottschalk now gives an answer himself in his podcast “Die Supernasen”, in which he chats weekly with his friend Mike Krüger, 72, about the sometimes more, sometimes less earth-shattering things that concern him. “Quickly about the divorce, so that it doesn’t get into the wrong throats. So it was in the ‘Bild’ newspaper. I’m actually divorced,” he confirms once again his documented and sealed marriage with Thea, and then speaks plainly: “I But say, I won’t get married because it says so in the ‘Bild’ and ‘Bunte’. I’ll get married when I think it’s right, but not when these papers think it’s right.” Mike agrees with amusement: “Thomas gets married when he likes it – and Karina mostly does too,” he smiles, whereupon he expresses his quiet (and only partly serious) regret: “Since you’re already taken, I don’t have anyone else Choice, Mike.”
Mareile Höppner: Fans are happy about a “chill” selfie with her loved one
Mareile Höppner, 47, is no longer making a secret of her happiness! Her love has rarely been featured on social media so far. But now the “Extra” presenter has finally shared a relaxed couple selfie with her partner Florian. He is holding his cell phone, she has her arm tightly around him, and her cheek is snuggling up to his. Anna-Maria Ferchichi and Bushido report on a wild party night
If everyday life with their eight children isn’t hectic enough for Anna-Maria Ferchichi, 42, and Bushido, 45, the couple also likes to party together. According to “Bunte”, Anna-Maria has been reminiscing about a wild night on Instagram in recent days: After meeting friends for dinner, the group moved on to an “exclusive club” in Dubai’s nightlife. There, at the latest, the mother of eight must have gone a bit overboard. “I have no idea what happened there,” Anna-Maria, now sober again, later wonders, “my husband had to hold my braid on the way home in the car, you can imagine why. It was crazy.”
But that’s not all: the 42-year-old has a harsh opinion of her party evening. “It was undignified. The first time in 13 years that our way home was like that,” Ferchichi is quoted as saying, “the last time it happened to me was in New York in 2009.” Luckily, her lover Anis was by her side during this little crash – and with a completely clear head. “He doesn’t drink,” Anna-Maria says.
