  • “Bridgerton” fans are eagerly awaiting Season 3 of the Netflix series.
  • It will also feature Lady Danbury returning and helping the Bridgerton siblings find their true love.
  • But according to author Julia Quinn, she should have died.

Fans of the hit Netflix series “Bridgerton” are eagerly awaiting season 3 of the historical drama. All the important characters of the series will also return in the new episodes. But if it were up to author Julia Quinn, on whose novels the series is based, we would soon have had to say goodbye to an important character.

Because she planned in the fourth novel, which tells the story of Penelope and Colin, to let Lady Danbury die, as reported by E News magazine. Luckily her editor stepped in and prevented it.

Meanwhile, Quinn is happy about this intervention: “You [Lady Danbury] is so important and I thought it would be a big, dramatic moment. And now I’m glad I didn’t because she’s hands down my favorite character.”

Thus, the quick-witted, noble lady should be preserved for all 8 seasons of the Netflix series. And we can also look forward to a spin-off with her. The still unnamed series deals with the young Queen Charlotte and her friends Lady Danbury and Lady Violet Bridgerton.

In both series we will see Adjoa Andoh in this role. When you can expect to see Lady Danbury and Co. again, i.e. when season 3 of “Bridgerton” will be released, you can find out from us.
