On vacation at Fort de Brégançon, in the town of Bormes-les-Mimosas, Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte Macron recently offered themselves a little outing in town to taste ice cream. Again, the first lady shone with a chic and relaxed look of which she alone has the secret.
Like every year, it is at the Fort de Brégancon that Brigitte and Emmanuel Macron have put down their suitcases for the summer holidays. Since July 29, the presidential couple has been enjoying the mild temperatures of the Var in this traditional summer residence of the Presidents of the Republic located in Bormes-les-Mimosas.
And no question for Brigitte and Emmanuel Macron to stay cloistered, the spouses take advantage of each day to combine rest and outings and have thus just offered themselves a little getaway in town. This Thursday, August 3, 2023, the Head of State and the former French teacher have indeed been seen at the Palais des Glaces, famous glacier located by the sea, in Le Lavandou. Something to surprise the employees of the establishment but not the boss, Thomas Chaussoy, who was well prepared to receive such special customers.

Brigitte Macron chic and relaxed to eat an ice cream at Le Lavandou
As explained in the newspaper columns Var-Morningthe security service of the President of the Republic carried out a first security visit in the afternoon in order to prepare for the visit of the couple which took place the same evening around 9:30 p.m. “For two seasons, I have been delivering ice cream to Brégançon” explained Thomas Chaussoy. Last year, Emmanuel Macron had already called him in person to thank him for the ice cream deliveries to Fort de Brégançon during the season. This year, he was delighted to see the President of the Republic arrive in person at his establishment specializing in “artisanal ice creams without artificial colors or flavors made on site, in Le Lavandou”.
We therefore learn that Emmanuel Macron would have opted for a scoop of chocolate ice cream while his wife would have bet on a yogurt-flavored scoop. The couple then posed for a souvenir photo with the entire team at the Palais des Glaces du Lavandou. The opportunity to see that even on vacation, Brigitte Macron does not leave her elegance in the closet! The first lady was indeed dressed in an ivory suit jacket, married to jeans and sneakers for the little casual touch. For his part, Emmanuel Macron has swapped his famous suits for a more casual navy blue polo shirt. We note that the presidential couple should stay in the Var for a little more than a week, until mid-August.
