Her memoir will not include details on the divorce: Britney Spears’ book will be published without subsequent changes in October.

The eagerly awaited biography of Britney Spears (41) will be published on October 24th. Fans who are waiting for the latest developments in the pop singer’s life to get an insight into the current divorce drama with her husband Sam Asghari (29) hope in vain. The US gossip portal “TMZ” claims to have found out. Accordingly, the book, which was announced in July, should not be changed later.

The final version of “The Woman in Me” is set

Insiders told the portal that there will be no changes to the memoir reflecting Britney Spears’ divorce. The book will be published as it is now. Only two weeks ago, the singer gave her final consent to the version of the book. You therefore no longer have the right to request further changes.

“TMZ” also reports that the news of the divorce has increased pre-orders for “The Woman in Me”. Another insider said that while Britney Spears’ estranged husband is featured in the book, the biography’s focus isn’t on her relationship with Sam Asghari. Instead, the focus would be on her past life, career and journey out of guardianship.

On August 16, various US media reported the couple’s separation for the first time. Britney Spears and Sam Asghari only got married in June 2022, the two had been in a relationship since 2016. Both have now confirmed the separation via their social media channels. This is Spears’ third failed marriage. She was married to childhood friend Jason Alexander (41) for 55 hours in 2004 and to Kevin Federline (45) from 2004 to 2007, with whom she has sons Sean Preston (17) and Jayden James (16).

That’s what the autobiography is about

Britney Spears’ biography The Woman in Me will be published by Simon & Schuster’s Gallery Books on October 24th. The book is, as the publisher describes it, “a bold and amazingly moving story of freedom, fame, motherhood, survival, faith and hope”. For the first time, “the incredible journey (and) strength at heart of one of the greatest performers in pop music history” will be revealed.

The book aims to describe the “enduring power of music and love” and show the importance “of a woman telling her own story on her own terms”. The cover features an even younger Britney Spears wearing metallic shorts and topless covering her breasts with her arms and hands against a plain black background.
