The dismissal now only needs to be approved by the competent Los Angeles County Superior Court judge Brenda Penny, who leads the case. In a statement to the New York Post, Britney’s attorney Mathew Rosengart called Jamie’s court action “another legal victory” and “justification” for the pop star: “It appears that Mr. Spears believes he can circumvent accountability and justice, including an affidavit and replying to other discoveries under oath.
