Britney Spears is expected soon at the US Capitol in Washington DC. The singer was invited by two congressmen.

Great honor for the pop star Britney Spears (40). She and her lawyer Mathew Rosengart have been invited to the Capitol in Washington DC by US politicians Charlie Crist (65) and Eric Swalwell (41). Spears posted the corresponding letter on her Instagram account. The members of Congress congratulated the two on their “historic victory” in court. The two politicians would of course have followed the process for Spears’ guardianship. Her journey to righteousness inspired and encouraged many others.

There were also other examples where people were wrongly silenced by guardianship. Spears wrote in her comment that she was “instantly flattered” when the letter reached her. That was months ago, but she wasn’t in the “healing phase” at the time, which is why she only made the invitation public now. The letter is dated December 1, 2021.

Britney Spears feels heard and understood

She is very grateful that her story is being taken note of: “The letter made me feel heard and important for the first time in my life!” It is difficult to find people who would understand and show sympathy when your family were against you. She is the victim and admits that she is doing it all pretty badly.

With her story she now wants to help others in similar situations to courageously tackle it. It is not yet known if and when Spears and her lawyer will accept the invitation. Spears’ guardianship ended in November 2021 after more than 13 years. After mental breakdowns, Britney Spears’ father was appointed guardian by a court in 2008. Since 2014, the singer and mother of two is said to have tried to free herself from this regulation.
