Britney Spears wants to get married, her ex invites herself to the ceremony

Pop superstar Britney Spears had planned to get married on Thursday June 9 near Los Angeles, a happy event somewhat marred by the irruption of her ex-husband who invited himself to the ceremony, report American media.

The 40-year-old singer and her fiancé Sam Asghari, 28, were in the middle of preparations when the intruder showed up at their luxurious villa, specify publications specializing in entertainment and celebrities, such as Variety or TMZ. Jason Alexander, childhood friend of Britney Spears to whom the star was very briefly married in 2004 (for 55 hours only), burst into the property, where he was arrested by the police.

Jason Alexander apparently filmed himself live on his Instagram account, where he can be seen telling a security guard that he was invited. “Where’s Britney?”, he says, before crossing the garden and entering a pink tent decorated with flowers, where he introduces himself under his name to people who seem to be finishing wedding preparations. According to TMZ, an altercation then broke out and the police were called. The Ventura County Sheriff’s Department indicates that officers attended the scene and discovered that the intruder was wanted for acts committed in another jurisdiction and therefore proceeded to arrest him, Variety said.

Britney Spears and Sam Asghari had remained very discreet about their marriage, the news of which had filtered only very recently in the specialized media. The couple announced last month that the singer had suffered a miscarriage. A few weeks earlier, Britney Spears had written on her Instagram account that she was expecting a baby.

The news had fallen five months after the American justice in Los Angeles had given him control over his personal life by ending the guardianship exercised mainly by his father Jamie Spears. The measure was decided in 2008 due to psychological disorders of the star, who called it a“abusive” and which, according to her, prevented her from removing her contraceptive IUD despite her desire to have more children. The singer, revealed as a teenager by several planetary hits including Baby One More Timealready has two boys, Sean and Jayden, with ex-husband Kevin Federline.
